#BUILDING BRIDGES INSTAGRAM RESIDENCY
The #BuildingBridges Instagram Residency was conceived and built by curatorial assistant Alexis L. Silva to provide a platform highlighting the artist’s process, method, and execution of various works. This residency prides itself on offering a venue for diverse groups of artists across mediums, and creating a space for a multiplicity of voices to be heard and stories to be told.
On a platform such as Instagram, there are so many opportunities for artists to receive recognition and visibility for their work and practice. With this in mind, the #BuildingBridges Instagram Residency built a structure that encourages exploration and allows for the audience to really delve into and understand the work of the artist. Our residency lasts an entire week beginning on the 1st of every month and ending on the 7th. This allows each artist to really expand on their process, show us the behind-the-scenes on work in progress, reveal different finished works, and promote any past or future public viewings.
Bridge Productions hopes to provide each artist with a new audience and create further opportunities for each resident. Our goal is to support artists, art communities, and sustain art ecosystems through representation and recognition.
For any further questions about the residency please email Alexis to find out more!
